Schedule of Proposed Exchanges.

1. Exchanges with Hongkong and Kowloon Wharf and Godown Company.

(1) The Government to hand over to the Company, as early as practicable, the areas tinted yellow on plan, such areas amounting to about 111,750 Square Feet. No building of any kind to be erected upon these areas unless the Company shall obtain the sanction of the Government, which may be given subject to payment of a premium to be hereafter determined.

(2) The Company to maintain the existing Praya Walls in a good and sufficient state of repair to the satisfaction of the Director of Public Works from the date of their taking over the areas coloured yellow.

(3) The Government to hand over to the Company, as early as practicable, the areas tinted red on plan, such areas amounting to about 27,000 Square Feet. The areas to be leased as Marine Lots, subject to the stipulation that free access to the drains and sewers or for laying new drains and sewers is always to be given to the Public Works Department.

(4) The Company to hand over to the Government, within 6 months of the acceptance of these conditions, the area cross-hatched red on plan, such area amounting to about 80,000 Square Feet. The Company to remove at its own expense all buildings at present occupying that area.

(5) Premium for the areas mentioned in (1) to be calculated at the rate of 15 cents per Square foot, and for the areas mentioned in (2) and (3) at the rate of $2 per Square foot, and the sum which will be due by the Company to the Government to be paid within one year of the Company being notified that the matter has been definitely arranged.

(6) Crown Rent for the excess area surrendered to the Company to be paid at the rate of $600 per acre. Such rent to be payable from the date on which the areas mentioned in (1) and (2) are surrendered by the Government.
